Food was very good I got Mac , yams , and fried lemon pepper catfish . Sever Savae was very helpful and welcoming! 3

First time at this restaurant. The vibes were everything, great music, nice decor, food was 10/10. I Highly Recommend going if you haven’t visited.

The food was on point. The service was on point. The drinks were on point. This was a whole vibe and all of it was on point. I highly recommend this restaurant. Very relax, small intimate atmosphere good people good staff thanks for the great service and the great food.

The food was absolutely phenomenal TO SAY THE VERY LEAST. lamb chops were in a sweet sauce grilled and glazed to perfection. The Mac n cheese was soooo good and salted to my liking. Same with the mashed potatoes. Truffle fries and of course the yams were delicious as well. Ciara was our waitress and she was sooo pleasant. She had a beautiful smile with a bubbly personality! Definitely recommend the best dishes. I forgot to take photo of the yams lol the only thing I will say is their portions aren’t the biggest which is fine but just order an extra appetizer to make you a little fuller. I can’t wait to come back to Detroit and dine here again. 10/10. I’m telling all my friends!!

Ambiance for dining was good. Great service. Amazing food. Great drinks. Will definitely be returning The Catfish and steak bites both were seasoned well and the macaroni and mashed potatoes are great sides. I will have to come on a Sunday to try their special menu items such as corn bread and pot roast.

I want to start by saying the food is absolutely Delicious. Michelle recommended that the Beauty Shop where I was getting my hair done try her restaurant. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Everyone LOVED the Lamb Chops, Mac and Cheese, yams and the Chicken Alfredo. It is truly a Hidden Jewel. I give the food 10 out of 10. A Must Try restaurant! Thanks again Michelle for the recommendation. We will be back soon!

Ultimately I will be back. This food was so good and well seasoned, I ate my meal in literally 10 minutes or less after arriving home. I ordered Lamb chops with Mac and mash with a side of zip sauce. I don’t try new places often but I am satisfied I gave Modern 7 Bistro the opportunity, they didn’t miss. Their zip sauce is an easy top 3 in my opinion. The small and brief exchange I had with the staff was reciprocated positively which made my experience even more enjoyable.*unfortunately I ate the meal to quickly for before pictures but here’s an after photo of what’s left*

Just an overall AMAZING spot. Food was delicious and plated gorgeously. My server was attentive, respectful and polite. The atmosphere was simply lovely and romantic
